Random Monday Media ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you interact with our website or services, including any SMS text message communications.

We may collect the following information when you submit our contact form or engage our services:

Business information gathered from publicly available sources (Google Business Profile, existing websites, public directories)
Records of communications between you and us (email, SMS, phone)
Payment information processed through Stripe (we never store full card numbers)
Your SMS opt-in status and the date/time consent was provided (if you voluntarily opted in)

2. SMS Text Message Communications

⚡ SMS consent is 100% voluntary. You will receive your free website preview and full access to our services whether or not you opt in to SMS messages. Opting in to SMS is never a condition of receiving our service or any offer.

2a. How We Obtain Your Consent (Opt-In)

SMS opt-in is entirely voluntary and separate from our service. You may provide consent to receive SMS messages from Random Monday Media through any of the following methods:

Checking the optional SMS consent checkbox on our contact form at www.myrandommonday.com. This checkbox is not pre-checked and is clearly labeled as optional.
Replying YES or START to an initial outreach message we send about your free website preview.
Verbally providing consent during a phone or in-person conversation with a Random Monday Media representative.

You are never required to check the SMS checkbox to submit the form or to receive a free website preview. The form submits and we fulfill our free preview offer regardless of whether you opt in to SMS.

2b. Types of Messages You May Receive

If you voluntarily opt in, we may send you:

A link to your free website preview
Follow-up messages regarding our web design services
Project updates and milestone notifications
Payment links and invoice notifications
Appointment or call scheduling reminders

2c. Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 5 messages per month. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Random Monday Media does not charge separately for SMS messages.

2d. How to Opt Out — STOP

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:

Reply STOP to any text message from us. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
Email randommondaymedia@gmail.com with subject line "SMS Opt Out" and your phone number.
Call (319) 936-3670 and request removal from SMS communications.

Opting out of SMS does not affect your service agreement or any free preview we have agreed to build for you.

2e. How to Get Help — HELP

Reply HELP to any message from us to receive our contact information and support options. You may also contact us directly at randommondaymedia@gmail.com or (319) 936-3670.

2f. No Sharing of Phone Numbers for Marketing

We do not sell, share, rent, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS consent data to any third party for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for direct communications between you and Random Monday Media.

2g. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier support may vary. We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect to:

Build and deliver your free website preview
Contact you about our web design and hosting services
Send invoices, payment links, and project updates
Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
Improve our services
Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share limited information only with service providers required to operate our business:

Stripe — payment processing
Vercel — website hosting
Google (Gmail) — email communications
Twilio / Slybroadcast — SMS and voicemail delivery (phone number only, for message delivery purposes)

These providers are prohibited from using your information for any purpose beyond providing services to us.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at randommondaymedia@gmail.com. We honor deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
